Company Information
The company's approach was first validated in 2001, when the Consumer Goods Consortium (organized by Kurt Salmon Associates) selected 7thOnline over industry leading competition as vendor of choice for a pilot between Liz Claiborne and Saks Inc. The Consumer Goods Consortium members include: Federated Department Stores, May Company, Saks, Liz Claiborne, Jones New York, Vanity Fair and Estee Lauder. Since then, top tier retailers and vendors have continued to support 7thOnline's solutions by aggressively rolling out to new divisions and by publicly supporting 7thOnline's business model in industry forums and standards bodies.
7thOnline is lead by a management team with over 100 years of combined IT and fashion retailer experience. We also have industry experts in client support, implementation and R&D. Additionally, our Board of Directors and Advisors is comprised of many thought leaders in the fashion and department store industries, including John Burden, Jerome Chazen, Richard Marcus, and Howard Socol.
7thOnline maintains its industry expertise by leveraging the experiences of our customers and our management team and by actively participating in industry initiatives such as the Voluntary Inter-Industry Commerce Standards Association (VICS). 7thOnline is a founding member of the VICS CPFR for Apparel and Footwear Committee, a Board member of the Center for Technology in Supply Chain and Merchandising at Polytechnic University, and a member of the National Retail Federation.
7thOnline's continued development of industry focused applications underscores our commitment to deliver progressive demand chain solutions that meet the specific requirements of the apparel, accessories, and footwear community. We work closely with our existing customers and partners to understand the vision and direction of technology initiatives in the industry, so that we can deliver best-in-class solutions that are ahead of the curve. Our Fortune 500 customers see 7thOnline as a competitive advantage due to enhanced visibility, better inventory management and reduced operational costs
